Thyrovor

What is Thyrovor?

Thyrovor is the latest weight loss supplement to make a product specifically for thyroid health. So far these thyroid supplements have failed to convince customers and critics alike that they can be effective. Can Thyrovor be the first effective thyroid supplement? Let’s take a look and see.

Thyrovor Ingredients

The logic behind these thyroid health supplements is that if they can increase the amount of thyroid hormone levels that will in turn help to burn fat and speed up the metabolism. That being said, we weren’t able to find any ingredients in Thyrovor that would help you do that.

Thyrovor is full of vitamins and minerals, which are good for overall health but are lacking in their fat burning potential. There are a few ingredients however, that we like in Thyrovor.

Thyrovor contains both guggulesterones and forslean. Guggulesterones helps lower blood cholesterol levels while forslean is an effective appetite suppressor. We would have liked to have seen higher dosages of these ingredients in Thyrovor to make it more effective.

What Thyrovor is missing is an effective fat burner.

Price of Thyrovor

The retail price of Thyrovor is $127 but can be found on Ebay for around $50. This still is very expensive for a product that is lacking in high quality ingredients.

Thyrovor Pros

  • Contains guggulesterones and forslean

Thyrovor Cons

  • Contains no effective fat burners
  • Expensive
  • Contains nothing that would dramatically improve thyroid health
  • No Satisfaction or Money Back Guarantees

Thyrovor Conclusion

There are not enough high quality ingredients in Thyrovor to make it an effective weight loss supplement.  It is an average product but has a high price.

Trim2O Aqua

Trim2O Aqua

Trim2O Aqua, from Blackstone Nutrition, is a lemon-lime flavored drink that aims to boost energy and suppress appetite. The product comes as a drink mix which can be used as you like and provides a 30-day supply for about $30.

Does Trim2O Aqua Work?

Trim2O Aqua’s approach to weight loss is essentially the famous caffeine/green tea combination, which is rich in antioxidants as well as providing a boost in energy and metabolism.  The drink mix is also high in Vitamins C and B-12 as well as fiber.  The vitamins help with immune system strength and the fiber with health bowel function.  This is definitely a good product, but not the most potent I have seen for weight-loss.

Trim2O Aqua Pros

  • Caffeine/Green Tea
  • Mix is convenient

Trim2O Aqua Cons

  • Slightly over-priced

Trim2O Conclusion

This is a good product, as I have said, but it may be slightly over-priced for what it offers.  The ingredients are pretty basic even if effective.  I wouldn’t sell the farm for this one, but if you are looking for a great-tasting edge to your diet program, then it’s not a bad idea.

Ultra-Strength Taraxatone Extreme

Ultra-Strength Taraxatone Extreme

What is Ultra-Strength Taraxatone Extreme?

Taraxatone is a diuretic made by Cytodone, which is designed to decrease water retention. Let’s take a closer look at Taraxatone Extreme.

Is Ultra-Strength Taraxatone Extreme a Weight Loss Supplement?

Ultra-Strength Taraxatone Extreme is not a traditional weight loss supplement. It is designed to help you lose water weight. It will not help you burn fat. It is used mainly as a short-term stint for people who want to look more trim for something like a photo shoot or a competition.

Ingredients in Ultra-Strength Taraxatone Extreme

Ultra-Strength Taraxatone Extreme is full of vitamins and minerals. The only ingredient we like in Taraxatone is green tea. Green Tea is a powerful anti-oxidant and appetite suppressor rolled into one.

Side Effects of Ultra Strength Taraxatone Extreme

Among side effects that users of Taraxatone Extreme have complained of include fatigue and dehydration. Both of which can be serious. Taraxatone Extreme should not be taken on a long-term basis.

Price of Ultra Strength Taraxatone Extreme

The retail price of Taraxatone Extreme is $30 but can be found online for around $20. This is fairly expensive for a diuretic.

Ultra Strenth Taraxatone Extreme Pros

  • Contains Green Tea
  • Possible Water Weight Loss

Ultra Strength Taraxatone Extreme Cons

  • No Fat Burners
  • Side Effects
  • Not a long term solution
  • Expensive

Ultra Strength Taraxatone Extreme Conclusion

Because of the likelihood of dehydration occurrence and the lack of potential actual body weight loss we don’t recommend Ultra Strength Taraxatone Extreme.

Ultra-Strength Xenadrine EFX

Ultra Strength Xenadrine EFX

What is Ultra Strength Xenadrine EFX?

Xenadrine EFX claims to achieve a new level of effectiveness never before seen in weight loss industry. While this sounds good, just about every other weight loss supplement on the market is saying the exact same thing so let’s take a closer look at Ultra Strength Xenadrine EFX.

Ingredients in Xenadrine EFX

Xenadrine EFX is comprised of a proprietary blend. The use of proprietary blends is pretty standard in the diet supplement industry. They are typically used to protect any research and development that may have gone into formulating a diet pill.

There is not a whole lot that is new in Xenadrine EFX, just the same ingredients we see in most weight loss supplements. An ingredient we like in Xenadrine EFX is green tea.

Green tea is a powerful anti-oxidant and appetite suppressor. The effectiveness of a particular blend of green tea depends on the amount of EGCG’s (active ingredient in green tea) that a product contains. The more EGCG’s a blend of green tea contains the more effective it is.

Price of Xenadrine EFX

Xenadrine EFX can be found for around $20. It was recently discontinued so it may be hard to find it for sale anywhere.

Xenadrine EFX Pros

  • Contains Green Tea

Xenadrine EFX Cons

  • Recently discontinued
  • No sort of guarantee

Xenadrine EFX Conclusion

Since it was recently discontinued, Xenadrine EFX has been replaced by two promising diet pills, Xenadrine RFA-X and Xenadrine RFA-1.

Venom Hyperdrive 3.0

Venom Hyperdrive 3.0

What is Venom Hyperdrive 3.0?

Venom Hyperdrive 3.0 is made by ALRI and among other things claims to be able to curb appetites and increase energy and stamina. These claims sound great but they are nothing we haven’t heard before. Let’s take a closer look at Venom Hyperdrive 3.0.

Ingredients in Venom Hyperdrive 3.0

The ingredient mix in Venom Hyperdrive 3.0 is pretty similar to a lot of weight loss supplements in the market. It is a hoodia-based product.

Hoodia is a fairly new ingredient on the market. It comes from a cactus plant in Africa and is supposed to be an appetite suppressor. If there ever was an ingredient that was over-hyped and unproven it might be Hoodia. There are no scientific studies published that support Hoodia as an appetite suppressor. Manufacturers love it because it is cheap and sounds exotic.

There are a few ingredients we like in Venom Hyperdrive 3.0, caffeine and guggulesterones. Caffeine besides increasing our awareness has been shown to increase both our mental and physical outputs. Studies have linked guggulesterones with lowering our blood cholesterol levels. Unfortunately, Venom Hyperdrive 3.0 is comprised of a proprietary blend and so we are left to wonder how much of each ingredient is contained.

What Venom Hyperdrive 3.0 is missing is an effective fat burner.

Side Effects of Venom Hyperdrive 3.0

Users of Venom Hyperdrive 3.0 have complained of nausea, headaches, stomachaches, anxiety, and insomnia.

Price of Venom Hyperdrive 3.0

The retail price of Venom Hyperdrive 3.0 is a ridiculous $75 but it appears people are trying to unload it online and it can be found for about $30. That is still expensive for a supplement with only two proven ingredients.

Venom Hyperdrive 3.0 Pros

  • Contains caffeine and guggulesterones

Venom Hyperdrive 3.0 Cons

  • No fat burners
  • Expensive
  • Possible Side Effects
  • Unproven Ingredients

Venom Hyperdrive 3.0 Conclusion

While Venom Hyperdrive 3.0 isn’t the worst weight loss supplement out there, it is far from the best. If you are serious about weight loss, we recommend looking elsewhere.

Xenadrine NRG is the latest to come from the Xenadrine family. It claims to be able to help you lose weight as well as supply you with incredible amounts of energy for 8 hours.

Ingredients in Xenadrine NRG

The ingredients in Xenadrine NRG are ingredients commonly found in many diet pills. Xenadrine NRG contains many stimulants, which may increase energy but also lead to possible unwanted side effects if you don’t follow the directions as prescribed by the manufacturer.

Price of Xenadrine NRG

Xenadrine NRG can be found online for around $25.

Xenadrine NRG Pros

  • Possible Energy Increase

Xenadrine NRG Cons

  • No longer being sold

Xenadrine-40+

Xenadrine 40+

What is Xenadrine 40+?

The manufacturers of Xenadrine EFX make Xenadrine 40+. Xenadrine 40+ according to its claims, “comes from the latest anti-aging technology.” It is designed for the elderly and claims to help slow down aging while simultaneously helping lose weight. Let’s take a closer look at Xenadrine 40+.

Ingredients in Xenadrine 40+

The ingredient mix in Xenadrine 40+ more closely resemble an anti-diarrhea medication than a weight loss supplement. Among other things contained in Xenadrine 40+ are Zinc, Uncaria Tomentosa, and a mushroom complex. Although these things are great for overall health, they have no links to weight loss or even helping slow down the aging process.

Side Effects of Xenadrine 40+

There are no known side effects associated with Xenadrine 40+.

Price of Xenadrine 40+

A bottle of Xenadrine 40+ retails for around $25. Although Xenadrine 40+ has been recently discontinued, you may still be able to find it online.

Xenadrine 40+ Pros

  • No known side effects
  • Ingredients may to contribute to overall wellness.

Xenadrine 40+ Cons

  • No longer being sold
  • Not backed by a satisfaction guarantee

Xenadrine 40+ Conclusion

Xenadrine 40+ was a good health supplement. It is no longer being sold.

Xerisan Review

Xerisan

What is Xerisan?

Xerisan is a new weight loss supplement that among other things claims to help you burn fat, increase your energy, and suppress your appetite. This sounds like the perfect weight loss supplement. Before we all buy 80 bottles, let’s examine these claims and see if there is any validity.

Xerisan Ingredients

There is nothing new or revolutionary to the weight loss market in Xerisan. It contains a lot of the ingredients found in average weight loss supplements.

An ingredient we like in Xerisan is synephrine. Synephrine is similar to the now banned Ephedra but without the side effects. It is a powerful fat burner. Unfortunately, Xerisan only contains 15 mg’s of Synephrine, which isn’t enough to help you lose a substantial amount of weight.

The other ingredients in Xerisan are nothing to write home about. What Xerisan is missing is an effective fat burner.

Price of Xerisan

The price of a bottle of Xerisan is nearly $70. This is extremely expensive for a weight loss supplement of its caliber.

Satisfaction or Money Back Guarantees

There is no money back or satisfaction guarantees with Xerisan, this shows a lack of confidence in their product. They do allow for returns on unopened bottles but as soon as they are open, you are out $70.

Xerisan Pros

  • Contains Synephrine

Xerisan Cons

  • No appetite suppressants
  • Extremely Expensive
  • Few Proven Ingredients
  • No Satisfaction or Money Back Guarantees

Xerisan Conclusion

To put it bluntly, for such a high price and so few high quality ingredients, Xerisan is one of the biggest rip-offs out there. We do not recommend Xerisan. The top diet pills ranked below excelled in several categories including: efficacy (does it work!), safety, company reputation, return policies and guarantees, and price.

Xylestril Review

Xylestril Review

Xylestril is one of the many diet pills produced and marketed “specifically for women”. It actually claims to be “the world’s first advanced fat burner designed specifically for women” and is aimed at aiding weight loss by helping women overcome psychological and physical barriers to weight loss.

Does Xylestril Work?

The more notable ingredients in Xylestril include…

  • Green Tea
  • Soy Isoflavones
  • Chocamine
  • Kelp
  • L-Tyrosine
  • Dong Quai
  • Damiana
  • Blessed Thistle
  • Magnolia Bark
  • Passion Flower
  • Raspberry Ketones

In general, there is a good amount of evidence to support these ingredients as effective aids to weight loss. The formula is essentially composed of fat-blockers and a few metabolic rate enhancers with ingredients such as magnolia bark, dong quai, and passion flower which help improve mood and may take the edge off of PMS and similar conditions. As for claims of acne control, these ingredients have less application, but in general they do what the product claims they will do.

Xylestril Pros

  • Versatile formula
  • Helpful for women specifically
  • Money-back guarantee

Xylestril Cons

  • Unclear ingredient concentration

Xylestril Conclusion

As for diet supplements, I have seen better and more potent formulas than Xylestril, but it nonetheless contains a pretty solid formula to help take the edge off of certain conditions that women experience when trying to lose weight. One reservation I have is that the exact concentration of these ingredients is unclear. This is a decent product, but there are better ones out there.

Lowest Xylestril Price

However, a lower price may be found on eBay.com

Yoga Slender Review

YogaSlender Review

Despite sounding like a plan for a fat-burning yoga routine (which isn’t a bad idea), YogaSlender is a weight loss supplement based on Ayurvedic Medicine (an ancient Hindu system of health-care). It makes quite the list of claims, assuring better digestion, increased metabolism, improved sleep and brain function, less fat, and better health overall.

Does YogaSlender Work?

Despite sounding a little wacky perhaps to us westerners, this formula actually contains some gems. It includes significant amounts of the following:

  • Triphala - promotes healthy digestive system and aids in fat removal.
  • Garcinia cambogia - evidence suggests its content of hydroxycitric acid can reduce your appetite and help reduce your body’s fat production.
  • Coleus Forskohlii - this extract may help boost your metabolism and help you burn more fat
  • Other ingredients include: Guggul, Cinnamon, Cayenne, Clary Sage, Kelp, Gotu Kola, Bibitaki, Salacia reticulata.

This formula is certainly diverse and covers all of the functions claimed by YogaSlender, however some of the ingredients lack sufficient research other than “historical use” to prove their potency. I am generally convinced of the proof behind most of these ingredients, but be aware that this product is not going to provide stellar results in each of the areas it claims to help. When it comes down to weight loss, these ingredients look pretty good.

YogaSlender Pros

  • Diverse natural ingredients
  • Inexpensive - $16 per bottle

YogaSlender Cons

  • Not a ton of evidence behind many ingredients

YogaSlender Conclusion

This is a good formula and I am impressed by the variety of herbs they have included. The price is good for what you are getting, but I would need to see more research to give it a strong recommendation.
