What is Acai Pure?

Acai Pure is a product that is intended to provide you with all of the cleansing benefits of the Acai berry. The website claims that ACAI PURE is the new Hollywood fad diet. The intention of Acai Pure is to increase energy levels, burn fat, and aid in cleansing.

The website claims that customers lost anywhere from 8- 25 pounds per month using Acai Pure. Acai Pure is also supposed to help with bloating, bad breath, excess weight, chronic fatigue, low energy levels, and constipation, but the website offers no research to back these claims.

PROS

* Acai Pure offers a full money back guarantee if you are unsatisfied with the product
* Customers claim to be satisfied
* It seems to be the new Hollywood fad for losing weight

CONS

* The only way to purchase the product on the website is through a “trial-offer”
* If you don’t return your unused portion of your free “trial-offer” before the end of the fourteen days, you will be charged
* This is an auto-ship company
* 14 days is not a sufficient amount of time for any consumer to get accurate results from a dietary supplement
* Not enough information about product ingredients

Most consumers will be distracted by the sensational claims that Acai Pure is a Hollywood fad diet. It will lead many consumers to blindly enter their credit card information and buy the product. A fourteen day trial-offer is not a sufficient amount of time for any customer to get the full effect of a dietary supplement.

You will be charged if you don’t return your unsatisfied portion of the product before the end of the fourteen days and will be charged every month after that if you don’t call and cancel.

All of these important disclaimers are at the bottom of the screen and can easily be missed. Acai Pure is poorly marketed for its potential consumers. The most unnecessary information is in the largest print and the most important information is the hardest to find.

What is WipeOut Fat Burner?

The purpose of the WipeOut Fat Burner diet supplement is to turn fat into muscle through the process of thermogenesis. WipeOut claims that it is the “most complete” diet pill on the market, but fails to offer any customer reviews its website.

* WipeOut offers a pretty extensive overview of the stages in which the ingredients work.

CONS

* The free sample may indicate that this is an auto ship company.

Fenphedra Xtreme

Is Fenphedra Xtreme a Scam?

Fenphedra Xtreme, an apparent clone / knock-off of Fenphedra, supposedly has a proprietary blend of herbs that are meant to help you lose weight. What they are, nobody knows.

What Fenphedra Xtreme Is Not

Fenphedra Xtreme is NOT a product full of high-powered ingredients. As a matter of fact the website fails to list any ingredients. Buyer beware.

Take into consideration that Fenphedra Xtreme claims to be scientifically researched and proven to work. The website doe not list any type of clinical research which should make any consumer nervous. If a product can’t emphatically claim to work, then it probably doesn’t work. Many customers complain of either no effect at all or that the product made them terribly ill.

On top of being worthless, Fenphedra Xtreme is terribly overpriced, average price of a diet pill on the market currently is $50, they’re charging over $73.73 for one bottle without the guarantee of reimbursement if the product fails. If a seller doesn’t disclose the ingredients that are in it’s product, then you had better take a closer look at what you are buying.

What is Fenphedra Xtreme hiding from? There are plenty of other products on the market that ACTUALLY WORK and list their ingredients including disclaimers providing you with the comfort and safety you desire to purchase their product. Don’t fall prey to the scam that is Fenphedra Xtreme.

Two Day Citrus Diet

Wednesday, November 12th, 2008

Acidic fruits have the strongest detoxifying effects of all fruit agents. Especially (red) grapefruit and lemons are detoxifying. Citrus fruit is all acid fruit but also tomatoes and pineapples are acid fruits. Citrus fruit is also very energizing.

What is the Citrus Diet?

The Citrus Diet is a diet in which the only things consumed by the dieter are citrus fruits and juices. You can eat lemons, limes, oranges and grapefruits along with lemon juice, lemonade, lime juice, orange juice and grapefruit juice.

How Does the Citrus Diet Work?

Due to the restriction of caloric intake and the high consumption of high fiber foods, your body goes to work shedding fat. Two Day Citrus is a cleansing diet. Other beliefs are that the powers of Vitamin C that citrus foods contain will also help promote weight loss. Whether or not Vitamin C has such a detoxifying effect is unknown.

Should You Go On the Citrus Diet?

Before you make the decision to go on the Citrus Diet, there are several things that you will want to take into consideration. Like all diets, there are pros and cons to the 2 Day Citrus Diet. For starters, you will want to keep in mind that citrus foods are known to cause damage to the teeth. If you do decide to go on this diet, it is important to maintain proper dental care. Also keep in mind that you will probably become hungry on this diet, mainly because you will not be eating anything besides citrus fruits. If you are looking for a healthy lifestyle change and a permanent way to keep the weight off, then the Citrus Diet may not be the best option.

ACAI BERRY DIET

What is Acai Berry?

Acai (pronounced ah-sigh-ee) is a high-energy berry that originates from the Amazon. Because of its nutritional value the weight-loss industry has been testing it on dieters.

Acai tastes like a mix of berries and chocolate. Acai is packed full of antioxidants, amino acids and essential fatty acids. Acai is not something you will find in the grocery store, but most likely something you’ll find in a health food store. Acai is one of the many products that are popping up online.

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE ACAI BERRY DIET

The Acai Berry Diet includes consuming the Acai Berry in any form. The goal of the Acai Berry Diet is to lose weight, consume vitamins and minerals essential to the overall health of the body, increase energy and support continued weight loss. The Acai Berry also consists of fiber, antioxidants and fatty acids that keep you in good health all the time. As it makes you healthy, it is also intended to make it easier to reach your desired goal.

The Acai Berry makes the movement of food particles in your digestive system very easy and thus the unwanted food particles eradicated and not absorbed by the body and stored as fat. The fiber also aids in satisfying hunger.

PRO

* Natural ingredients have disease-fighting qualities
* Increases energy
* Offers antioxidants and amino acids
* Good source of fiber
* Organic products available
* Many juices and other products available in major grocery stores

CON

* Like other exotic products, Acai can be pricey
* Does not provide exercise instructions
* No concrete proof that it actually works
* Online suppliers have been known to auto-ship and auto bill your credit cards

Conclusion

In conclusion, all of the Acai Berry based diet products that are inundating the supplement market are all free trial nightmares. They get you on the free trial and usually bill your credit card up to $90 5 days after your purchase. There are legitimate products that contain Acai berry in them, but don’t fall for a free trial scam.

FucoSlim

What is FucoSlim?

How FucoSlim works?

One of the cons to FucoSlim is that there isn’t a lot of information regarding how it works. It appears to target a protein called UCP1 that increases the rate at which abdominal fat is burned. FucoSlim has been tested on mice and rats by Japanese researchers and has been found to combat obesity. FucoSlim is taken one or two times daily. FucoSlim is not a long term solution to weight-loss problems.

Pro’s

* Wakame, green tea and pomegranates are very healthy foods

Con’s

* FucoSlim may induce side effects
* Not a long-term solution to weight loss
* Weight loss claims may be exaggerated
* No diet or exercise plan provided

Conclusion

In conclusion this product does contain a few good ingredients. In my opinion FucoSlim is trying to offer too much and as a result doesn’t effectively accomplish anything but minimal weight loss. Keep reading to learn more about the most effective and affordable diet pills on the market.

Fucoxanthin

Monday, November 10th, 2008

Background

Fucoxanthin is a carotenoid, with formula C42H58O6. Metabolic and nutritional studies carried out on rats and mice at Hokkaido University indicate that fucoxanthin promotes fat burning within fat cells in white adipose tissue by increasing the expression of thermogenin (used to generate heat). Through an extraction process, Fucoxanthin is available in pill form and available as a dietary supplement. Say goodbye to fat, forever!

What is Fucoxanthin?

Fucoxanthin is an all natural ingredient found in edible seaweed which possesses strong thermogenic effects without affecting your central nervous system, so it doesn’t give you the jitters or affect your sleep. Fucoxanthin actually boosts your metabolism, breaking down and accelerating fat loss.
Although brown seaweed is the richest source of fucoxanthin, you would have to eat an unrealistic amount of it daily to get fucoxanthin levels close to those used in research studies.

Why Do People Use Fucoxanthin?

Weight Loss

Fucoxanthin is being explored for weight loss. So far, only animal studies have been done. Japanese researchers have found that fucoxanthin (isolated from wakame) promotes the loss of abdominal fat in obese mice and rats. Animals lost 5 to 10% of their body weight.

Although it’s not fully understood how fucoxanthin works, it appears to target a protein called UCP1 that increases the rate at which abdominal fat is burned. Abdominal fat is the kind of fat that surrounds our organs and is linked to heart disease and diabetes. Fucoxanthin also appears to stimulate the production of DHA, one of the omega-3 fatty acids found in fatty fish such as salmon.

Fucozanthin is a promising and popular nutritional supplement. Researchers are confident that it will work in humans the same way it has worked in animals. If it does prove to be effective, fucoxanthin could be developed into a diet pill for obesity.

Diabetes

Fucoxanthin has also been found in animal studies to decrease insulin and blood glucose levels. Researchers hypothesize that fucoxanthin anti-diabetes effect may be because fucoxanthin appears to promote the formation of DHA (the omega-3 fatty acid found in fish oil). DHA is thought to increase insulin sensitivity, improve triglycerides and reduce LDL (”bad”) cholesterol.

Cancer

Preliminary research in test tubes suggests that fucoxanthin may have anti-tumor effects. No studies have looked at whether this holds true in humans or if taken orally. It’s far too early for fucoxanthin to be used as a complementary treatment for cancer.

Side Effects

Because there hasn’t been research on fucoxanthin in humans, the possible side effects aren’t well known.
People shouldn’t consume large amounts of wakame or other types of seaweed as a source of fucoxanthin. Seaweed is rich in iodine and excessive consumption may result in iodine poisoning. High levels of iodine can interfere with the function of the thyroid gland. Also, consuming excess amounts of iodine-rich foods isn’t recommended if there is a known allergy or hypersensitivity to iodine.

Fat Burning Foods

Monday, November 10th, 2008

If you’re tired of trying supplement after supplement that hasn’t worked for you, then the FAT BURNING FOODS diet may be just the right place. While diet and exercise are tried and true methods for shedding unwanted fat, FAT BURNING FOODS offers a comprehensive look at different foods that will work better than any supplement on the market. Fat Burning Food reviews items that can help you shed that layer of blubber that has grown around your waist. Everything from food items that increase your metabolism to foods that actually help burn body fat is reviewed.

Recommended Foods

CATABOLIC FOODS

The purpose of eating catabolic foods is their negative calorie affect. These are foods that burn more calories in the digestion process than the food itself contains. Simply put, they are foods that burn fat instead of creating it. Catabolic foods burn more calories than they supply, the opposite of anabolic foods. For example, a medium sized apple (which is catabolic), would provide an average of 85 calories. However, your metabolism requires an additional 99 calories to metabolize it. As a result, you burn calories (and hopefully fat!) To help maintain your weight, it’s helpful to eat a minimum of ten servings of catabolic foods each day. Below is a list of catabolic foods that is recommended by FAT BURNIND FOODS. High grade catabolic foods are more effective than low grade (listed below). It is best to spread the consumption of your catabolic foods over the course of the whole day.
