Could Certiphene really live up to its promises? This product claims to burn fat, curb your appetite, and build muscle. The Certiphene website is pretty persuasive. They’ve cited “clinical studies” and have several convincing testimonials. But is all of this relevant? Let me explain why it isn’t.
The studies published on Certiphene’s website are real, but the thing is they play a sly game of semantics. The study states that P57 (hoodia) helps reduce caloric intake and reduce body fat. There are two things you need to make sure about a product with hoodia: (1) Make sure there is an adequate amount of hoodia in each serving and (2) Is the hoodia that is used a 100% genuine African P57 hoodia. Unfortunately, neither of these is true in Certiphene’s case. Furthermore, notice that in the studies no concrete numbers were given of how much weight each participant lost: a huge red flag. Words such as “statistically significant” make it seem like you will lose a lot of weight. In reality, this helps Certiphene circumvent the truth by speaking in generalities and not using cold hard facts.

I would say this is an OK list of ingredients. My main concern is with the “proprietary blend.” Often, diet pill companies use proprietary blends to hide the amount ingredients in each serving, adding cheap fillers to cut down on the cost of manufacturing. Unfortunately for us, it reduces the effectiveness of the pills. The consumer loses and the company wins.
